We are living at the end of the age – At the end of man’s rule over man and the beginning or return of the rule of God over man through his Messiah.
The world is a turbulent, uncertain place. Everything men place their trust in has or will fail. Many look at it as a time of darkness and despair, when it is, in fact, the darkness before the dawn of the greatest age since creation when man stood with the promise of a pristine world before him.
Many still put their hope in politics. They hope that some man will be able to return them to a time and place of their liking and preference. Somewhere more comfortable, more satisfying of the flesh. There shall be no return. The word of God will be fulfilled.
For the unbeliever, there is nothing in what you are about to read. If you are confident that the word of God is nothing, but a book of fairytales told by fools, enjoy your life on this earth. It will be brief and the cost of your folly long.
For the believer of any stripe, here is my humble advice to you. Turn to the word of God and do as the men and women in those pages did in similar circumstances.
Which brings us to Daniel.
1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
Daniel 9:1-3
3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
If you have never prayed, it is time to learn. If you do pray, it’s time to dig deeper, go further, and press in to the presence of God like never before.
Pray for the nation, for your nation whatever her name. Repent for the nation as Daniel did.
We know from the scriptures that we are at the precipice of change. We can’t pray for Yehovah to heal an unrepentant land. There must come a point when we realize like the nations of old our world has gone too far.
16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
Genesis 15:16
Israel would be in Egyptian bondage some four hundred years. During this time God was dealing with the nations that occupied the land God had promised Israel. When those nations corrupted themselves beyond redemption they would be removed and replaced.
This is the situation we now find ourselves in. The gentile world has had two thousand years of the favor of God. We as a whole have become more wicked than any people before us. Our time is at hand, judgment has begun and will increase.
Do not pray for God to restore the status quo. Pray that the few that have ears to hear will hear. Pray that those who know the truth will speak it while it is possible to do so. Pray a prayer of repentance for the nation. Call out her sins and ask God to have mercy on the righteous.
4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; 5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
Daniel 9:4-8
6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
We have abandoned the word of God and chosen the doctrines of men. We refused His counsel and have gone our own way. We have profaned His Sabbath and worship on the day of Roman/Babylonian sun worship.
He has prescribed the manner of worship He deems acceptable yet we have turned our back on his law. We expect the God of the universe, of all creation to receive us when we wont even obey His statutes.
Messiah is coming for a bride that has searched the scriptures and is presently conforming to them. You may make all the excuses you like but He will have none of it.
21 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. ( Iniquity, lawlessness, Torahlessness )
Matthew 7:21-23
If you are a believer in Jesus, the chances are that you are a part of a denomination that is heavily influenced by Rome/Babylon.
You may have a genuine love for God, but you have been deceived into accepting a nonbiblical religious system in His name.
Search the scriptures, and show me Sunday worship, it isn’t to be found.
Search for the Seventh day Saturday Sabbath it is everywhere. Look for the biblical holidays of Leviticus chapter twenty-three – they were kept throughout the first three hundred years of faith in the Messiah by Jews and Gentiles alike.
Rome murdered tens of millions of authentic believers in the thousand years known as the Dark Ages. (400 – 1400 AD ).
These are facts that people who claim to love truth won’t even bother to check.
The most precious thing in the earth are the souls of men and women who will respond positively once they have heard these things.
I’m not going to pray for God to fix this mess. I’m going to pray for God to finish His work in the earth because mankind is utterly corrupt and largely beyond redemption.
Let me point one more thing out for the Western gentile world. The scriptures that speak of the nation’s involvement in the end time saga do not mention you.
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Romans 11:25
How do you determine the fullness of the gentiles? I take it to mean that they have had their day. All the nations mentioned in the prophecies of the end time are Middle Eastern. They are the nations that were historically at odds with Israel.
In modern history, western nations have had a powerful influence on the nations of the Middle East. What will it take to remove that influence? Such change is historically very violent.
I am not prophesying but it is highly likely that the majority of the western world will be devastated to the point that we simply can not leverage influence in that part of the world any longer
Is this something I want to see happen? No. However, I know it must happen in some form or fashion.
Is this something I want to see happen? I want to see an end to the sickness and depravity of this world. There is no going back.
Pray. Pray for the sins of your nation. Pray for a return to true biblical faith. Pray that souls would rather turn to the doctrine the bible actually teaches and not the doctrines of men and devils.
Pray for the strength of men and women who are willing to join the fight for the Sabbaths, the Moedim. Pray for those who baptize in the name of the Messiah alone. Pray for those who teach the absolute necessity of the new birth. ( John 3:1-8, Acts 2:38 ) Pray for those who have and are returning to the original faith of the Apostles.
The course is set. It cannot be changed. This world is about to see the greatest upheaval it will ever see but there is no darkness to those that walk in the light.
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Revelation 7:9-14
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
You can’t get oil from olives without crushing them. You can’t make wine without treading the winepress.
The Christian world is looking for an easy way out. There won’t be one.
Jesus said we should take up our cross and follow Him. Where was He going? I think you know. The gate is narrow and the way difficult. If you love your present life more than the word of God, you’re not going to make it. I can’t make it any plainer than that. You have to be willing to die.
