We call it “The Great Deception” – teachings that the modern church is pouring into believers.

  • The law was done away with.
  • Christians were “freed” from the bondage of “the law.”
  • Christ “fulfilled” the law, and it no longer applies to Christians.
  • Believers are “under grace,” not “the law.”
  • The Sabbath is only for the Jews.
  • The Old Testament is the “Old Covenant” and no longer valid.
  • Jesus is our Sabbath.

And unfortunately, believers lap it up without question.

If you are one of them, it’s time you learned the TRUTH.

You Have Been Deceived

First of all, you need to KNOW that you have been deceived. It doesn’t matter how nice your pastor is or how much Holy Ghost you feel in your church services.

Chances are, your pastor is deceived too.

In the latter part of the first century, many of the Greek churches that the Apostles of Messiah were responsible for founding began to turn away from the truths that were initially communicated to them by the Apostles and those who followed after them.

Those individuals who separated themselves as well as those under their authority, from the Apostles and their legitimate predecessors, formed what would eventually become the Roman Catholic church.

The Roman Catholic church slaughtered everything and everyone who opposed its rule for more than a thousand years.

By the time the alleged “protestant reformation” began, the educational systems of Europe, which were run by Rome, had thoroughly ingrained Roman Catholic doctrine into the minds of the people of those nations.

Ideas such as trinitarianism, Christmas, Easter, and All Saints Day – which have NO biblical basis – have become accepted as the norm.

The first English Bibles that were published and distributed were filled with Roman Catholic doctrine because the translators were the product of a thousand years of Roman Catholic Theology.

They absolutely twisted the scriptures to fit a Roman Catholic theological view.

That is why today so many people like yourself can’t even begin to understand what the Bible says or means by the term “law,” “grace,” or “faith.”

Quite honestly, you have been brainwashed, and you bring preconceived notions to the scriptures when you read them. You have been fed non-biblical ideas, and you have been taught to support them through the perversion of isolated bits of scripture that appear to fit the narrative you’ve been fed.

Paul and “The Law”

Case in point: Paul writes that the “law” was added because of sin. My question to you is, to what was “the law” that was added?

Paul is referring to Israel’s failure at Mt. Sinai while Moses was on the mountain. Prior to Moses’ ascension, Israel had already been given the Ten Commandments (the Decalogue), which includes the fourth commandment that is to keep the Sabbath.

The addition Paul is speaking of as “the law” is almost the entire book of Leviticus (notable exceptions of that are Leviticus 11 and Leviticus 23 which explain things that were established much, much earlier – before there were any Jews).

“The law” is NOT one monolithic body of information. The Ten Commandments, the Tabernacle Plan, its service, and annual operation were all separate from the majority of the book of Leviticus. That portion of the book of Leviticus is the addition that we are no longer obligated to keep.

The truth is, we are under grace and not under “the law.”

Properly understood, we no longer need to shed the blood of bulls and goats as a means of dealing with our sin.

Paul himself wrote that.

However, that does not do away with the Ten Commandments, the Sabbath day, or the Holy Days described in Leviticus 23, which are the “holidays,” if you will, on God’s prescribed calendar and not man’s.

“The law” as mentioned by Paul has to do with the offering of the blood of animals in a substitutionary fashion for our own sins. It can NEVER do away with our sin guilt. It simply rolled the debt forward, year after year, until Messiah came and offered Himself for our sins.

Those sacrifices pointed to the crucifixion.

So “the law” is not the means by which we are saved. It simply points to the final sacrifice that would open the way of salvation to all.

But understand, this does NOT do away with the Ten Commandments or God’s calendar of worship, which includes the weekly Sabbath as well as the annual Sabbaths (Moedim or Feast Days).

True, Biblical Grace

Grace does not “free” you to commit adultery, theft, or murder. It frees you from answering those things with animal sacrifices.

If you are a murderer or a thief or a liar, you still have to repent. The Bible says that if we are faithful to repent, He is faithful to forgive (1 John 1:9).

THAT is the definition of grace.

At NO point did Jesus disannul, cancel, or do away with the Ten Commandments, the weekly Sabbath, or the High Sabbaths (Moedim).

You have been fed a lie.

Paul’s Other Jesus and Other Gospel

Paul warns about the coming of another Jesus, another gospel, and another spirit. THAT is what you are presently worshipping.

That is what the vast majority of the modern church is worshipping. And they don’t even recognize it.

The culmination of that worship will have you bowing your knee to the antichrist due either to your insincerity, ignorance, or unwillingness to study the Word of God for yourself.

And many who are under this deception, in truth, the vast majority of them, will cry out in protest, “I don’t see it like that!” “I make it about Jesus!” “I don’t look at it like that!”  “God knows my heart!”

As if their opinions and intentions hold enough weight to change the Word of God.

It doesn’t matter what your “intentions” are or how you see things. It doesn’t matter where your “heart” is; scripture says you can’t trust your heart (Jeremiah 17:9).

The ONLY thing that matters is what is in the Book.

New Covenant or RENEWED Covenant?

The New Testament is not a “new covenant,” it is a RENEWED covenant. Malachi 3:6 says that God does NOT change. So, to believe that He changed His covenant goes against His very nature.

The Old Testament lays the foundation for understanding the New Testament. EVERYTHING that Jesus taught, that the disciples taught, is from the Torah – that is all they had, and it is the “scripture” referred to in the New Testament.

The Old Testament gave us the instructions for the Sabbath which was established BEFORE any Jews even existed (Genesis 2:2-3), as well as the Moedim. Those things are NOT exclusively for “the Jews”; they are for those who abide in Christ and desire an intimate relationship with Him.

Also, if you study Exodus 20:8-11 you can clearly see that Jesus is NOT our Sabbath. You can also see that it is impossible for every day to be the Sabbath. If you are keeping the biblical Sabbath and obeying scripture as it is written, you simply can’t do it every day. Not only is that NOT the way the scripture was written, it would also mean that you would NEVER do any work and would NEVER cause anyone to work – no shopping, no restaurants, nothing.

Those things, the Sabbath and Moedim, are for those who have been grafted into Israel. They are not for the Gentiles because scripture tells us that Gentiles cannot be saved. If a Gentile comes to Christ, then he or she is no longer a Gentile but is grafted into Israel.

And at that point they abide in Christ and should walk as He walked (1 John 2:6) – which means keeping the biblical Sabbath and Moedim.

If Your Way is not God’s Way, it’s Wrong

God gave explicit instructions on how we are to worship and honor Him. He did not leave room for man’s “intentions,” “ideas,” “interpretations,” or any other products of the cult of individuality that the world promotes.

He said, “Do this, don’t do this.” He was very clear. He did not say, “Do what you think,” or “do what you want, because I know your intentions.”

He told us what to do to honor Him, to worship Him. He did not leave room for the heart, mind, and FLESH of man to corrupt those sacred things.

OBEDIENCE IS HOLINESS.

And it doesn’t mean doing it your own way. Partial obedience is still rebellion. Obedience with your own spin, such as “making Christmas about Jesus,” is still rebellion.

He was clear and precise. He wants all of us – ALL of us. And if we choose to keep any portion of ourselves from Him, He will spew us from His mouth on Judgment Day.

And it won’t matter how many souls you reached or people you healed in His name. If you aren’t being wholly and completely obedient to Him, you never knew Him, and He never knew you (Matthew 7:21-23).

Which are You Pursuing? A Relationship or a Religion?

We have answered these questions SO many times, both on this platform and on the hundred-plus hours of YouTube materials we have produced thus far through our ministry.

To any sincere person, what has been written here today is enough to cause you to begin to search the scriptures to see that these things are so.

To any religious person, ten thousand more words will not suffice. You are following a religion that is foreign to the Bible. You are following a religion that seeks to redefine the meaning of the words of the Bible. When you take scriptures out of context, they can be made to mean almost anything.

I suggest you read Ephesians from the beginning, not just portions of chapter 2, because if what you believe about those verses is true, you should also be worshipping angelic beings and demons as they are represented by the celestial bodies. ALL of that is contained in those first two chapters, which obviously you have ignored.

It’s time to stop playing patty-cake with Jesus and get serious about an intimate, REAL relationship with your Creator.
