We understand that it can be difficult to walk into a new church. And if you’ve never worshipped in a house church, that can be particularly daunting.

That is why we have done our best to put together some information that will hopefully answer at least some of your questions and make your first visit a little more comfortable.

If you have more questions, please feel free to contact us!

Before Your Visit

If at all possible, please let us know that you are planning to attend so we can prepare. We serve a meal after service and we want to ensure that there’s plenty to go around!

When You Arrive

Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before service starts. This will give you a chance to get settled in and get to know us. We also broadcast our services live, so arriving early minimizes disruptions for our online guests and members.

When Service Starts

We always begin service with prayer as we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit as well as pray for the things that Yehovah has laid on our hearts.

During the Teaching

During the teaching, you may want to take notes or write down questions. We have pens and notepads if you don’t have them.

After the teaching, we have questions and discussion. This deepens our understanding of Yehovah’s Word.

After Service

Once service has concluded, we partake in the Kiddush (Communion) and then share a meal together. This is a time of fellowship and fun!

Other Things You Might Want to Know

Kids

We typically have our Sabbath Kids program after the meal. The children enjoy a kid-friendly lesson, study questions, Bible verse, prayer, and fun activity.

You can also subscribe to the Sabbath Kids weekly letter on our website.

Worship

We are Apostolic at our roots, and our worship reflects that.

We are demonstrative in our worship. You may see us lift our hands, move around, and express our love for Yeshua. This is not a requirement, and you can certainly worship how you are comfortable.

Prayer

We are a praying people! We believe in intercession and praying for the body. We believe in praying for our nation, the world, and the lost.

We pray in the Spirit – pray in tongues.

Dress

You will notice that we dress a certain way, but we do not require it. We believe that a person’s outward appearance comes from inward growth in Yeshua. If you are faithful to Him and obedient to Him, you can’t help but be transformed, inside and out.

You are free to dress how you are comfortable, but we do ask that you please refrain from wearing super short or revealing clothing. This may be a house, but it is a house of Yehovah and His Spirit is here. We just ask that you respect that.
